    It wouldn't surprise me if the team Saturday will be the (likely) team for Man City

    Also, are we going to be using proper squad numbers? We usually do for our last pre-season game!

    I like your thinking. Against good sides, it's important that the middle 3 remains a middle 3 so as to keep the ball an the floor and moving and to make our pressing more effective.

    I think most teams that we play will be playing a style of 4331. Look at the likes of Man City on youtube - the 6-1 against Norwich is a good example, and you will see thay have no width in any of the goals, all thier goals through the middle with quick passing. The only top team playing 442 was Spurs, but now the old timer has left they will probably change system. Interesting that the original poster (and others)has JWP infront of Davis, not knocking it but it shows the talent he has shown
