If I have offended anyone with my Keith Lemon or Howard Webb thread then I am sorry I never meant offence and will accept any punishment ie ban etc whatever the mods see fit. I take full responsibilty for my actons and admit my joke was in bad taste. I will in future think before I post ( If mods allow me to remain a member if they don't I will except my fate without any hard feelings) Once again sorry to anyone I've offended.

I only looked at the thread after seeing this! Bad taste but didn't offend me, don't see why you should be banned.... although I am a mere minion!
One of those jokes that was ill timed rather than really offensive. I think some people seemed cross as you'd mocked the dead - but you didn't. You just used the recently dead in a joke (which is oh so slightly different). I'm sure they won't kick you out for that.
I don't think there was ever a chance that you would have received a ban for an error of judgement. Your reaction to the post was enough for everyone to see you too thought it a mistake. Draw a line under it and leave it at that.......

I haven't read the thread, but will puff myself up with moral indignation and demand that Saintmarv is punished by being banished to the Pompey board for the season, so that he can be hit by tumbleweed on a daily basis.
On a genuine note, really can't see anything really offensive in the david frost thread, but some people do get rather bent out of shape at the drop of a hat. However, anyone who has seen any programme hosted by said Keith lemon cannot be easily offended otherwise they would explode with anger within the first 30 seconds.

As far as I was concerned you were nowhere near a ban. The members here are pretty good at gauging what is acceptable and what is not. You now know the score. Keep going. This is a good forum to be part of.
