Danger, not being funny but people were also calling for Martin O'Neill's head after quite a poor start to his tenure,at Filbert Street !
Do you think the then City chairman (Martin George) was right to ignore the wishes of the fans ? & please give a reason for whatever you answer is !

To be fair, how many times have we said that since MON left?

Aaaaawwww!

Both sets of City fans united in our disappointing starts.

43 games to go, still time for Bruce and Pearson to get promotion. They should both be given time.

Same with the Wendies. They've had a great start but I think the League will catch up with them and they'll soon have a reality check. It's similar to us with our first Season in the Premier League, new brand of football, teams didn't know how to set up against it, get some great results, and then the League catches up and there's an awful second half of the Season...

Then again, Powell is a smart manager and I think Charlton will be alright and will be the most likely ones out of the promoted 3 to get back-to-back.

With the League One winning mentality that teams seem to carry into the Championship, Wednesday are the team I feel that will do the best of the three promoted.

This is what I keep saying!

After 15 games last season, Reading were 17th with only 18 points, and had only won once at home.

I'm not saying that we can just take it easy and not bother turning up until the 16th game, but, teams have been in a lot worse position than we are in right now, stuck with their manager, and gone on to win the league.

We've lost two league games in a row, both away from home against good opposition, chill out...

NP is still a very good manager. Sacking him is ridiculous.

I wasn't happy he left but then I was chuffed Barmby became manager.

Bruce is a good manager too but it seems supporters today don't want to give managers a couple of seasons to put their stamp on a club.

At least the Leicester fans are being a bit more realistic about their players and chances. Makes a change from the idiotic boastful comments over the last 12 months!

Welcome back normal fans!

At this stage I can say that NP's definitely an above average Championship manager. The critical question is how much better than average will he turn out to be? We will find out sooner than planned.

If he turns out to be 'Just above average' that may do for many teams in our league but that's not good enough our club's ambitions.

Just a twitter rumour apparently, I hope it's not true!!!

If it is, the only person I'd be happy with his Harry Redknapp, but I guess that's a bit ambitious!

To quote "russel2103"...

"No he hasn't!
It was a made up joke by a palace fan on twitter! He immediately said it was a joke. Whoever created this thread obviously saw one tweet and believed it without questioning!"

Panic over :D

Its just the no one brigade on making things up. Bert clearly knows **** all and keeps dropping hints to what he thinks is happening.

As things stand Nigel is the manager. Both Paulo and Sven got around 13 games before they went so I would expect Nigel to get the same before the owners act

Bert just gets more desperate for attention..some of his misguided "fans" still follow this clown..and he tweets BS. and they get all worked up...it is funny sometimes <ok>

Thanks IUTBJF, you gave me a mild heart attack there (if you couldn't tell!)

Just out of interest, if we were to sack Pearson, what decent managers are out there that we would be happy with?

No idea.. whoever it was they would become instantly s h i t e here.... this club is the bermuda triangle for managerial careers..<ok> I had no clue the owners would go for pearson after sacking sven...
