In every game we have played we have outplayed the opposition and even today it seems we had the better of it but our 5th and 6th choice strikers couldn't take the chances. They got a deflected free kick that wasn't a foul, a dubious penalty and a 40 yard screamer.

I know all that may sound like excuses but at least give the guy a proper chance FFS.

Yes we had a lot of excuses after the two previous defeats - Oh we battered them - Oh the officials - You post like its me that's going to sack him, sorry mate but that's not my decision, it's Top's - I'm just glad he's strong enough to do what's necessary

Played some great football in the first 3 league games, apart from the first half of Peterborough ironically, this is a far over reaction imo ... though it does support the fact that i don't care if Waggy and Schlupp are shipped out.
 
Im in ****ing Leeds of all places tonight - Can someone please tell me what Pearson says in his post match speech - has he resigned?
 
It's not just us, bolton, hull, Blackburn and brum have lost to lower league teams, however the players had better get their s*** sorted for Saturday or I'll bet even the most patient fans will be venting their anger.

Some snippets from the top of my head:

- He's a 'very angry man'

- Some players who thought they should be playing more regularly have missed their chance

- Takes responsibility for playing two CBs who maybe weren't ready

- Understands fans frustrations

- Things 'will change' before the Blackpool game

I'll third this, yes it was a poor result, but agree with Pearson when he mentions that the fringe players havn't shown why they should be in the first 11, apart from Knockeart, who if fit should start on Sat.
We will prob have a totally different midfield, defiantly have totally different strikers, but worryingly we will prob have 4 of that back 5 :s
