Would he do a job . Sounds like a stop gap to me.

Lets not panic buy , Mr PJ knows what we need and he'll sort it out .

In Mr PJ i trust.

C O Y B BOYS

There's mixed reviews about his history. Hopefully he will actually do the job better than Tommy Smith.

I think the lad is going to be left disappointed. I think it was wrong of the club to promise him an offer before it's been made. If Jewell's comments about pace after Tuesday are anything to go on then there isn't going to be any offer.

It's very worrying that he stressed about pace all summer then started with a midfield of Bowyer, Leadbitter, Andrews and Kennedy!!!

I would keep Kennedy as LB with Cresswell in front of him

I would also have Ainsley as RB with Edwards in front.

This will help out the defence with pace in front of them to track back wingers. It would also give experience in the back four which i beleive Kennedy could provide.

In the middle i would play Andrews and Bowyer with JET playing just off Chopra.

It just leaves the CBs.

If no one comes in i would honestly play our current u18 pairing whoever they may be. It could not be worse and surely they must have some pace being that age.

Anyway Posh here we come. Lets roar them on for another away win. It will be nice to stand in a good old away end again

Take Sonko all day long.

Apparently, Reading offered him a pathetic 90% pay cut. He must have been on big wages originally. Also, the same article claims he was happy to accept a 75% paycut.

He's still without a club, seems to want to play football, and appears the wages would be sensible.

Win win win. The main issue is fitness, however I'd be happy to sign someone with Anderton's injury record at the minute so Smith isn't on the pitch.

He was on £28k a week at Stoke, hard to believe, particularly as he's completely hopeless.
