Aluko on twitter...

“Looking forward to the memories of right now!!! What a rollercoaster day of emotions! We did it!!! @hullcityteam WE ARE GOING UP! #SoHappy,”

“Wow!! This feeling...if God does nothing for me again forever he's already blessed me beyond was I deserve or imagine!! #Blessed#buzzing,”

Fair play to the lad, couldn't be easy missing the 2nd half of the season and having to watch everything unfold the way it did knowing how much of an impact he could have if fit.. which got me thinking...

Had Aluko been fit all season, could we have won the league? If you think how much of an influential player he was for us when fit, not to mention the goals he would have scored & assisted.

Npower Championship Top Scorers

Aluko could have finished the season on 20 goals, how many games would that have allowed us to win? We would have surely taken 2nd in a much calmer fashion and would have battled Cardiff for top spot, in my opinion at least..

Anyway, I cant wait to see him in the Prem for us, he's only 24 and his best years are ahead of him and hopefully with us!

Im guessing that he'll be fit in time for pre-season training with the boys and will be in contention for the first game of next season.

He was valued at 5 Mill by Rangers. Prem quality and we got him for peanuts. Came because of Bruce. Players like Bruce and it will make a massive difference with recruitment this time..

Did anyone on twitter see McLean over celebrating our promotion, how many games did he actually play for us this season?

I was thrilled to see that yesterday too. McLean in the tunnel with the boys going potty over being promoted... even though he knows he has no future with us and Bruce has told him directly that he needs to find a new club... fair play to you Aaron!

He's been a good servant and committed player for us. He WOULD have made a difference in those last 3 games before the Cardiff one too.

Who got the goal and the 3 points at the Wendies? Mr McLean....he can celebrate as much as he ****ing wants IMO. A true team player!

I've always like McLean and i think we should keep hold of him over the summer, Simpson should be sold and we should give Fryatt until January to see how he does in the prem.

I think Bruce and the Allams know that Proschwitz was a flop but we wouldnt get anywhere near what we paid if we sold him so it wouldnt be worth it...

Mclean just shows what a great dressing room that is - may have been at Ipswich for a few months, but still very much part of that group. He has always put his all in for us, and if he does leave over the summer, whilst maybe not doing as well as he would have hoped on the pitch, he has definitely played his part in getting us back to the Premier League.

Does the same go for Dawson? The reserves? Youths? Thought not. Let the lad enjoy himself because he is a top man!

I can see McLean going back to Posh now that they're relegated back down to League 1.
