Aluko on twitter...
“Looking forward to the memories of right now!!! What a rollercoaster day of emotions! We did it!!! @hullcityteam WE ARE GOING UP! #SoHappy,”
“Wow!! This feeling...if God does nothing for me again forever he's already blessed me beyond was I deserve or imagine!! #Blessed#buzzing,”
Fair play to the lad, couldn't be easy missing the 2nd half of the season and having to watch everything unfold the way it did knowing how much of an impact he could have if fit.. which got me thinking...
Had Aluko been fit all season, could we have won the league? If you think how much of an influential player he was for us when fit, not to mention the goals he would have scored & assisted.
Npower Championship Top Scorers
Aluko could have finished the season on 20 goals, how many games would that have allowed us to win? We would have surely taken 2nd in a much calmer fashion and would have battled Cardiff for top spot, in my opinion at least..
Anyway, I cant wait to see him in the Prem for us, he's only 24 and his best years are ahead of him and hopefully with us!
Im guessing that he'll be fit in time for pre-season training with the boys and will be in contention for the first game of next season.
