Huntley was sentenced to life imprisonment and, even if he only serves the minimum term, will be past retirement age when released. I'd imagine he'll be on a sex offenders register as well which would preclude him working with children anyway.

Why would you ban Evans from playing football? If you feel that he's still a danger to women, surely that would be the ideal job to give him since his immediate colleagues will be exclusively male?

Would you want him at Rangers? If you were a Manager would you give him a job?

Prison may have turned him, you never know.

How are we being contrary? Do you think that sentences imposed by the courts are just a starting point, and the general public should be allowed to impose additional ad-hoc punishments as they see fit?

I suspect the argument, which will never be stated of course, may run along the lines of "they are perfectly entitled to get a job as long as they don't earn more than me". This ain't aimed solely at Dev by the way

If he could score 20 + goals a season i would have him back in a flash on a free transfer.

I'd give him a job because I don't believe he's guilty of any crime. He shagged a drunk burd who sobered up then cried rape. Our laws, being outdated and unequal, need to change.

If anything, he's a victim of an unfair legal system. How many of us have shagged drunk burds we've met at a party or on a night out? Are we all rapists?

A lot of Celtic fans would like him at Rangers I am sure

But yes, i may well be inclined to give him a job. Why not? The bloke's done his time.

I'm afraid that does not wash with me Dan, he's shown no remorse whatsoever and point blank refuses to accept he's done anything wrong, in my opinion he's not done his time at all, even if he had done 10 years I would still not employ him, especially in a highly lucrative job.

agree 100%.

There are plenty of unknown rapists who have jobs. Having a known rapist at least gives you a heads up at the Christmas night out
