I suspect the argument, which will never be stated of course, may run along the lines of "they are perfectly entitled to get a job as long as they don't earn more than me". This ain't aimed solely at Dev by the way

I'd give him a job because I don't believe he's guilty of any crime. He shagged a drunk burd who sobered up then cried rape. Our laws, being outdated and unequal, need to change.

If anything, he's a victim of an unfair legal system. How many of us have shagged drunk burds we've met at a party or on a night out? Are we all rapists?

I'm afraid that does not wash with me Dan, he's shown no remorse whatsoever and point blank refuses to accept he's done anything wrong, in my opinion he's not done his time at all, even if he had done 10 years I would still not employ him, especially in a highly lucrative job.

There are plenty of unknown rapists who have jobs. Having a known rapist at least gives you a heads up at the Christmas night out
