You'll be pleased to know we've finally got a young toad in our wildlife pond. There was toadspawn earlier, but I thought the newts ate it. They must have missed this one. They are actually quite cute when they're young.

Indeed. Had newts for 3 or 4 years, they've had the run of the place, but with new kids on the block the developments should be interesting.

That is amazing. It's a neat bloody painting in itself, but when you try to imagine the control needed to dip the brush in the paint and then apply it - well all I can say is chapeau.
Finally got around to finishing a painting I started a year ago, looking down the coast to Barcelona.
