You know what, having slept on it I no longer care. We got a heck of a lot of money for a guy who forged a fair amount of his reputation in the Championship. Irrespective of what the truth is, we have to just move on and support the lads who have stayed.

'We' got a heck of a lot of money? That would be good if we did but are we ever likely to see where it goes, never mind get our hands on it.

If the Pie Man puts that in his bin he's a good deal nearer to getting the amount of cash he wants when he does find a buyer for the club.

The price he gets plus any transfer money he makes in the meanwhile will give him roughly what he wants when he tries to sell up.
 
He continues to turn a profit transfer window after transfer window with minimal investment, so when he does eventally sell the club there's no doubt he'll have made a profit on it
