Apparently raising your arms is unnatural. A rule made by people who’ve never had to run around or jump in the air for a living, or even for fun.
If that is what we can look forward to next season with the new handball rules, then football will be the loser. He was pointing and no movement of the arm towards the ball. Crosses will be a thing of the past as the ball is chipped against a player’s arm to win a penalty.
Nah, he was spazing out with his arm there. But where it hit him was the thing for me. If his arm was down, that was shoulder region hit. That has hurt the game.
he was pointing behind him to get defenders to cover, which is a normal thing to do, so Mane chipped it straight at his arm, pretty sure he was deliberately trying to get a penalty too.
Sadio has developed superbly. Think he's my favourite post-Lambert player. Would love to see him with the trophy as much as I'd rather it wasn't with LFC.
That will become a legitimate tactic next season similar to ice hockey. As said elsewhere, I’m not gonna go on about var as you can see why the ref's given it due to UEFA's interpretation but do we really want games decided by things like that?
Yeah, my preference would have been to go in the opposite direction: fewer iffy handball pens, not more.
