To be fair, once we sell Bowen & Grosicki they'll be replaced. Obviously the players brought in wont be as good, but we can still play a 4-3-3 if we buy like for like.

Saying that we've got that Milinkovic kid who can do a job.

Inexperienced at Championship level, sure.

I’m happy with McCann. Better than Appleton or McLaren. The Peterborough chairmen really rates him bar the fact he sacked him.

He probably won’t take it.
 
First question McCann will ask Ehab is what is the playing budget for the 2019/2020 season ?. If Ehab is dim enough to reply bugger all then McCann won't take the job. There must be money in the pot to bring some new players in, they will just be Championship & Div 1 players who come in on the last day of August (as that has obviously worked so well for City in the past!!!) The Allams are driven by making money & saving money, so they will appoint the cheapest option, give them just enough to put a passable squad together & sit back & enjoy another season of earning 5% interest on the 50 million debt (that never goes down)

It generally isn't the club that people are slagging off. Its just the owners. Nobody can blame them for that.

Just bring this thread back to its original topic, the jury is still out for me whether McCann is a good appointment or not.

All I will say is that I don't believe that he was the Allam's number one target as they state, but I guess they have to say that. But it is important that we have first team coach in place at the start of the pre-season, so if it is going to be McCann the sooner he is in situ the better.
