To be fair his record is decent. 164 games managed and hes taken points from 110. That's not bad by anyone's reckoning. The Allams are ****s but they have a fairly good success rate in appointing managers.
The man who took a job at Leeds and brum ??? Seriously ?? Got to stop this self loathing we really do
So the Allam's spin about paying compensation to get the right man was bollocks and the usual smoke screen. Now Grant McCann is in the frame, as expected going for cheap and cheerful.
You don't need to see the contract offered, to know that a newish manager, who's only ever managed in League One and is yet to achieve anything of note, is going to be far cheaper than one who's managed in the Premier League, or even just had success in the Championship.
Yes I'm sure he's going to be offered a massive wage on a 4 year deal, with promises of a huge transfer budget.
Before a new manager has been appointed or even interviewed cold water is getting thrown over the appointment because posters think they know the terms and conditions on offer. We know nothing.
I thought you knew all about the contract Adkins was offered and the fact he was given 2 improved versions ?
He will however, presumably actually require compensation paying to Donny. Whether he is the right man is another question though.
We know our owners are ****s and just let a manager, who didn’t want to leave, a man who was the world’s most optimistic manager, walk away because the terms were so ****, even he couldn’t accept them.
His stock is somewhat higher than it was then though. I mean, I get what you mean but you'd have to imagine he'll get better offers than us and more likely he is waiting to see what Frank Lampard does.
