Pepe got the armband yesterday when Carra went off so that's probably a good indicator that (if he's still here) he's in line to get the job.
Henderson! He'd be my pick.. I'm biased, I like the fella, I can see him only improving and therefore becoming a fixture in the team.
He's another that puts a shift in and would certainly lead by example!

WHY!??![]()

Because he is inconsistent, comes across as if he has a don't care attitude and isn't vocal or the best player? Just a guess mind![]()
Reina will be.
Personally have Lucas, Henderson, Suarez. In that order.
Ajax fans weren't that happy when Suarez got the captaincy according to what I read quite a while ago. They felt the responsibility restricted him on the pitch and weighed him down a little.
I think I'd give the vice captaincy to Agger and hope he grows to be a stronger character on the pitch and within the dressing room with the extra responsibility. Captaincy isn't always about finding the person that is the most vocal or the biggest character, its also who would benefit most from being captain, and I think Agger would benefit a lot from being vice captain. More so than Reina & others anyway.

Can you imagine the ****ing reaction? It'd be debated in the House of Commons
I quite like the idea of Suarez as deputy skipper, but that's partly the devilment in meCan you imagine the ****ing reaction? It'd be debated in the House of Commons

I'd hate it to be Suarez.
Our recent captains have been the quiet type who lead by example - Gerrard and Hyypia. I think it's time we did get a vocal captain - I look at Gerrard and he doesn't inspire me anymore. Those long range goals, the lung busting runs are pretty much non-existent.
If we continue to go down the path of giving the captaincy to someone who leads by example - Suarez is the only one who would motivate/inspire. Agger and Lucas are very good but efficient. They don't inspire.
Seeing Suarez chase lost causes, fighting for every ball is something that gets the crowd going, not mentioning his goals and skills.
I'm not saying that I want Suarez to be the captain but if we're talking about leading by example (in terms of performances and NOT behaviour) then it can only be Suarez.
