A week ago the game went well for Liverpool with city's goals pretty much being defensive mistakes. Liverpool went behind to us and to change things up all they have is downing!
If all we had on the bench to turn a game was downing I'd describe our team as in crisis (maybe that's because I think he's dreadful) also the media love a problem, like our 'goal scoring woes' last week!

I read Phil McNulty saying that Liverpool showed an 'abject display' yesterday. What Bollocks, they actually played pretty well and we did really well to stop them from scoring and hitting them on the counter.
The BBC are usually pretty good, but that was just pure fabrication to suit their story. What with Robbie Savage and the Facist Paulo Di Canio on their books, the BBC's standards are slowly slipping down to the level of talkshite

Odd comment; are you confusing the word "anybody" with "everybody". If you don't care and you think that justifies your comment, you probably are.

Thank you for correcting my use of the pluralization, I should of course said does any Arsenal supporter care, by the way your syntax is appalling you can't finish a sentence with verb, either regular or irregular, do try a bit harder.
The OP asks a good question here that is easily answered by the exegerating dramatisation the British media make of every situation.
Sunday morning we were a team in crisis, hadn't scored in 180 mins, even the commentaru made a point of syaing we'd reached the 200 min mark when after 20 mins the game was 0-0, clearly a phrase he'd jotted down to use in the very likely scenario that it would be 0-0.
Man Utd were in crisis after losing at Everton, Liverpool after losing at W Brom, Man City are defensively weak and will struggle to retain their title and Chelsea's defence has just gone AWOL, just some of the phrases used by our media.
Constant desire for new updated information on everything means websites and newspapers fill their pages with rubbish, and it's not changing sadly.
And to think we're just 3 games into the season.....

Indeed I can finish a sentence with a verb of any sort, if I want. I don't think you meant regular or irregular, I believe you meant transitive or intransitive, which is far more relevant I think. I believe you should study one of the classic sentences from literature, with regard to this, "I think therefore I am."
I can't say I am a stickler for grammer, we all write very fast on these forums, and these days nitpicking grammer is not looked upon very kindly. I was not nitpicking your grammer I was trying to draw attention to the fact that just because you didn't care (you being anybody) that didn't meant that everybody felt as you did.
This is fun, I think I am going to try an finish every sentence I write with a verb, just because I can.

Liverpool could have scored and had a couple of pens. If anybody wants to check the stats, they probably had more of the possession too. Arsenal did well to contain them, our goals came on the counter. But that didn't suit chief BBC football reporter Phil McNulty's story he wanted to write about Liverpool being in crisis.
Truth is that it was a good game and both teams battled. Well pleased with Arsenal for getting a win and I don't buy the lazy assumptions that it was because Liverpool were ****. That devalues both our clubs.
Also, firing Lee Dixon and replacing him with 'Arry Redknapp wasnt the smartest move. I think it's now safe to say that Sky have the best coverage, even if they do have Jamie Redknapp.
Harry was abysmal on Saturday. How he managed to offer less analysis than Alan Hansen is a feat of nature.
I have said it before and I'll say it again, bring back keys and gray, get some hot burds in bikinis in the studio, and you have an award winning show, hot tottie and good analysis, what more can a bloke want. Am sure there would be plenty of hot fame hungry burds, pull some from big brother or something, who cares if they know nothing about football, andy gray will soon sort the out.
Regarding Liverpool now though, they'll be OK, they need a striker (or at least to play Borini as a striker), and to learn the new game plan, but after that, they'll be fine.
