Liverpool could have scored and had a couple of pens. If anybody wants to check the stats, they probably had more of the possession too. Arsenal did well to contain them, our goals came on the counter. But that didn't suit chief BBC football reporter Phil McNulty's story he wanted to write about Liverpool being in crisis.

Truth is that it was a good game and both teams battled. Well pleased with Arsenal for getting a win and I don't buy the lazy assumptions that it was because Liverpool were ****. That devalues both our clubs.

I don't remember ever thinking to myself "Liverpool are a great team" after the City game - you should of won and had a good game but i never thought you were going to win the league or anything! it was one game
