Painful watching Milkins, missing easy ball after easy ball. Reminds me of Steve Davis just before he retired, not a good watch.

I can pretty much only watch O'Sullivan. Unless there is a really close game towards the final couple of frames. Just get bored too easily.

Not a fan on milkins at all. Been a great tournament to watch so far. I think Allen wins it this year

Doubt I'll be seeking him out in future, presumably he's not always that bad but he wasn't exactly Mr Charisma, had the demeanour of a spoiled kid who's been told he's getting nothing for his birthday.

Allen has been good lately, I'd like another look at Ronnie to see how his form is.

Anyone else seen that footage during a Hendry interview of a middle aged bloke in the background nuzzling the cheek and biting the ear of a young lad in front of him? Disturbing. Even if it's his son and he's trying to embarrass him who does that, in that manner.

Yep <doh> Weird to say the least.

Not good is it, I hope the cops look into it properly.

Watching the Allen/Higgins highlights, looks to me like Higgins might be finished he seems to still have the competitive spirit but the quality has gone. I won't be sorry to see the back of him, as far as I'm concerned he should have been banned for life back when he admitted to match fixing on video.

I have been mate. Well worth going. Really unique atmosphere in and around the event.

I saw some early round afternoon session. Jam packed. Beware the seats are tiny to the point of being uncomfortable. I had to stand up between each frame. As it looks on tv it is a tiny auditorium, ridiculously so in fact. But you do get a sense of history in the place. You find yourself remembering the golden era of snooker. I half expected Bill Werbeniuk to peer round the screen when I was there! You can see into the commentary boxes, the players door. It is all quite legendary.

What I found amusing was before the players come out you get coached on when to cheer by the tv presenter. Then he tells a couple of gags to raise the atmosphere in readiness, then out of nowhere he talking to the tv camera and it is game on.
