Just thought I’d mention what a great World Championship final that was. Bracel played unbelievable snooker at times, but he was pushed all the way by Selby.
Fully agree, brilliant tournament from start to finish.
I find Selby a hard watch at times, but he seemed to play different game in the final and was a better watch for it.
The Monday afternoon session was one of the best displays I've ever seen....Brecel was just unstoppable.
Selby gave it a right go on the evening session, and I thought at 16 -15, if he gets the next to make it 16 - 16 he would go on and win it.
Very gracious of Selby at the end, there was genuine emotion there between the two of them.

I like Mark Williams, he's not getting any younger but he's still producing some top stuff and competing at a high level. I like his dry humour and self deprecation, seems a top bloke.

Was a great final few frames
Williams really deserved to win selby did his bit to make it interesting

Watched Ronnie vs Zhou in the UK championship today. Ronnie alternated between great and awful but turned it on when it counted. I think he's struggling a bit, he skipped the last mayor tournament citing mental health.

He's clearly still got it when he can tap into it but he missed quite a few straightforward shots. Not sure if it's an age thing which is inevitable for every player no matter how good or more of a mental issue.

Now he's in the final he seems to be fully focused and back to his best, haven't seen him miss any I'd expect to pot unlike the other day. Good contest against Ding who's another class player.

Seems like he struggles mentally to get through the rounds, but once he's in the final, the old ronnie kicks in.
When he's on form, he's untouchable.

We're lucky to still be watching him at the top of his game, I'm sure he started talking about retiring when he was in his late twenties or thereabouts. Can't think of any other sportsman who started winning at the age of 17 and is still doing it 30 years later.

Chalk another win up for Ronnie. Only saw bits and bobs but he looked in good form.

I think Ali Carter genuinely hates him.
