He was discussing a move about 3weeks ago in a cafe , It's not like he was whispering , I was like 12ft away and got the gist and I was trying not to be nosey

I dont think you've been following the thread, get your Mum to read it to you as a bedtime story... We've said its not the money he just doesn't want to be relegated a third time....
Hes a professional footballer and your trying to tell me and its not the money:emoticon-0136-giggl
Your funny and you probably have no idea that you are

Don't blame him, we're ****. Every aspect of the club is ****. Terrible owners, crap manager, pissed-off fans which means **** atmosphere, nailed-on for relegation etc.

Exactly. Remember when being told your team was going to be relegated made you mad and you took it as an insult? Now it makes the person saying it look stupid. I mean there's literally nothing to ridicule, it's just sad. Like somebody beating a golden retriever puppy to death with their bare hands. It's just not funny anymore, to anybody.

Except Lincoln City fans, they really ****ing hate us.

I live in Lincoln. Never met a Lincoln City fan though. All the people I've met at uni are from outside Lincoln and support either their hometown club or they're glory supporters.

Can anyone remember how to get the 'reader view' on that ****e website please? I have adblocker but it's useless on there, it makes it totally unreadable when people post links rather that copy and pasting the full article.

Here you go ...

Football columnist Peter Swan says Hull City brought their contract situation on themselves.

The writing was on the wall in the summer with Hull City's transfer activity when it comes to recruitment.

It wasn't what former manager Steve Bruce wanted, and he left, and it wasn't what many fans hope for also.

Now we are seeing talk not of players coming in during the transfer window, but talk of some who could leave the club.

Robert Snodgrass has reportedly turned down a contract offer from City and what I expect we'll see between now and the end of the season is a lot of uncertainty surrounding some players.

When a club lets a player's contract run down all they are doing is shifting the power out of their hands and into that of the players.

That's the situation the Tigers now find themselves in, with all the power resting not in the boardroom but in the hands of those players who are seeing their deals coming to an end.

If I was one of those players I'd not want to sign anything, I'd want to wait until the end of the season and see what options are open and where the club find themselves.

You can't blame the players for doing that and putting themselves in that position.

You have to blame the club for letting it get to this position in the first place.

It's going to be an issue that won't go away and one which never helps either.

Snodgrass value reported to be at £4m whos come up with that figure?

Give your heads a shake

Mason £13m
Maguire £6m

If he goes for £4m ehab neess burning at the stake infact he does already for this contract mess
Need him out asap never mind game boycotts i think hounding out the city is more suitable

Explains his form.

Polly 13. Since Southampton I don't think he's played particularly well, certainly not to the high standards he had reached. It's not a huge criticism as he can't do it all on his own.

Apparently we have the option of the extra year so that needs triggering now as to avoid losing him for a low fee.
If he wants to leave he leaves but not for 4m **** that..

I really can't work out why the Allams have this tendency to run down contracts to the last few months!?!

Yes you are avoiding a pay rise for a short while but on the other hand you are literally knocking millions off of the value of an asset.
