See SB in the press saying he'd love to take Snodgrass to Villa, but is sure city wont sell to Villa, nice timing Steve.
Sadly I suspect the poisonous goings on at the Club may well swing a few players minds if clubs come in for them .. I just don't think it's as simple as continuing to ply their trade in the Premier League.. The gruesome twosome are sending this club spiralling with their petty and greedy antics .. The players would be mad not to jump ship if they get the right offer from anyone in the top two leagues .. All I want for Christmas is for these two muppets to exit stage left and never return.
every time the Club did something worthwhile on the pitch the numskulls that run every other aspect of it tried to take any shine from our achievements
havnt read every page on this thread , especially since the comedy that theres some chance we will trigger a clause , had me feeling this window will be as barren and hopeless as a vagrant looking in the window of John Lewis.
We lost ten thousand between 66 and 68 in our golden era of Waggy and Chillo. Still remembered as the golden era though. The record books will show our achievements under Steve Bruce and the Allams as two promotions and a Cup Final. That is all.
Despite been related and both particularly bonkers I do not think you can judge Assam and Ehabs eras together. Despite the name change rubbish and towards the latter end of his reign Assam did very well. With boy wonder it is a totally different story. A complete disaster and he has no idea what's happening and what he's doing.
Predictive texting. And,in further mitigation, Dr Zhivago has been on. Seeing Julie Christie in a fur hat and coat driving off to Lara's theme always brings a tear to the eye and renders me incapable of concentration. please log in to view this image
1966, promotion season from Division 3, 22,000, 1967 24,000, 1968, 17,000. 1966 saw 28,000 for 3rd round of Cup, 38,000 4th round and 38,000 5th round (against Southport!). 1967 saw 35,000 on Boxing Day against Huddersfield (last time we had over 30,000 for a league game) then over 20,000 City fans at Huddersfield the next day in a 32,000 crowd. 3rd January over 29,000 for the arrival of Portsmouth in the 3rd round of the Cup and 33,000 at Pompey for the replay. There were over 18,000 at Coventry for the second replay. 1968 33,900 for the 3rd round replay against Middlesbrough. How tines change. Especially for the 3rd round of the Cup.
He could take the easy route and go to Celtic. I just watched them v Hamilton, it was like watching 3rd division football;;.... awful.... we'd piss the Scottish Premiership...
Too much gin turning 17,000 into 15,000? Yes, unless every gate is exactly the same then an average means some will have been lower. And some will have been higher. That is what an average is, adding two or more amounts together and dividing the total by number of amounts.
Dont turn snide on Christmas Eve castro it cheapens you. Show us all your figures for average attendance for 66 to 70. Thanks.
