This man is amazing
With his help and connections he has enabled me to renew my 26/27 season ticket after I’ve had a lot of problems
Like so many I’ve read about
I can’t thank him enough for his persistent efforts to enable this
Thanks again for his support and understanding
A true gent

very happy your sorted mate well done Smug :emoticon-0148-yes:

Don't know the lad but know of him through away days when I lived out of the area (Lincolnshire) for 25 years before moving back in 2024.
I've enjoyed his company as part of a wider circle of away fans and everyone I've spoken to has nothing but good things to say about the fella.
He's clearly a tremendous bloke so its no surprise to hear that he's done this for you @Vincemac.

Well done @Smug in Boots

Jesus, lad you will get a knighthood soon, from an exile in Carlisle who knows you from the roker park days.

Cheers Vince, it's made my day that you're sorted at last.

It was poor from the club, after all your years of support, and you shouldn't have had all that worry.

Expecting you to go to a lottery, just because your 'care' situation changed was inexcusable in my opinion.

As I've said all the way through this process we shouldn't allow the ticket office to sour our love of the club ...

... we'll be here long after the current ticket office manager has gone back to Notts County or wherever.

He's the current Michael Beale, in my opinion, and shouldn't be affecting so many people's lives.

So pleased for you mate, hope you have another great season.

Cheers mate and again great man

So proud to have managed that after you'd stood there, chatting with people, for hours mate ...

... I'll never forget the look on your faces when the last ticket turned up from halfway across London.
That was a tremendous moment that back at the Argyll just as people were heading off to Wembley and they didn’t think they would be going! Bumped into them on the tube heading back to the Argyll after the game and they were going there specifically to get you a pint and to thank you again! One of my abiding memories of a great day!

Brilliant weekend anyway, but had resigned myself to watching it in a pub. Was a brilliant feeling when Smug handed the tickets over.
Will always be grateful to Smug for that.
Memory that will always stay with me.

My interactions with Smug have been through posts and direct messages on this forum.
I would class him as the Granit Xhaka of this site.
He will do anything for you and go above and beyond the call of duty.
I am hoping one day I will get to meet him and then that is something I can tick off my bucket list.
A true legend of the 606 site.....god bless him.

Very kind comments from everyone and truly appreciated, believe me.

In reality I'm no different to most of us, just a little more vocal.

We all try to help each other and chip in how ever we can, I'm just a bit of a focal point for passing things on.

That's not a bad thing especially if people have things to say but don't want to draw attention to themselves.

Helping Vince was only possible because other people, on here and elsewhere, were willing to get involved ...

... I took the praise but there's always a lot more to these things than meets the eye.

Well said mate and I’m truly grateful to you and your contacts
