Pitchforks at the stadium?

About fooking time. It might be enough to entice me to return.

What's the revival of this thread about? More news of the sacked groundsmen?
Volunteer pitch repairs sacked...while repairing pitch

Anyway your pitchfork would be welcomed at the stadium, but the work might last into darkness so please also bring a flaming torch as well

You can't help yourself can you?

I haven't defended anything in respect of the Groundsmen nor the divitors.

Not once. Not even hinted at it.

So that's another lie from you.

I'm flattered you have a handy notepad with quotes from me from all that time ago. I can't reciprocate I'm sorry to say.

The quote lacks context too. Thats usual for you as well so I'll just add that to the things to do.

Did I think CTWD were a bunch of self serving ****s who tried to make out they were noble, and doing it for the masses? Yes I did.

Did I think the Chairman of CTWD was a 2 faced **** who said one thing, while privately saying something else? (That's being dishonest btw). Yes I did.

Did you admire him for that? Of course you did. Lieing and duplicitous, how could you not?

Anyhow, enough of toying with you, the lies you come out with and desperation you show with years old quotes put my teeth on edge. Those without blinkers on know what you are and how you act.

Has anyone actually got any actual idea what the hell has gone with 2 of the groundsmen and the divitors, and why?

Is divitor even a word?

Have we got any groundsmen left at the club?

I listed those who are still quick to leap to the club's defence, not specifically about some volunteers, but just generally.

Yesterday it was you with your usual 'it probably didn't happen', Chazz with his 'don't they ever call us Hull City, I hadn't noticed' and Tom with his rather bizarre 'unsold seats have a theoretic value' explanation.

Doesn't bother me, I'm just surprised there's anyone left prepared to defend the club after everything that's happened in the past couple of years.

As you got it wrong with me it was a point worth discussing dint you think.

.

So saying that is defending the owners, how ****ing bizzare.
The reasons, timings and in fact, the whole background to this story, is only known from one side and I put forward a view, based on what I know is happening at the club.

A purely speculative scenario.

Ehab discovers employed members of the ground staff are dishing out free matchday tickets to their mates, without his knowledge.

Ehab loses his **** and summarily dismisses those ground staff members.

A few days later, it is discovered that the tickets aren't exactly being dished out to mates, they are being used as a reward for volunteers who replace divots after the match.

Ehab finds it characteristically difficult to admit he may have erred.

Ehab orders that the volunteers are dispensed with.

Desperate to find anyone in employed by the SMC who can replace the divots, SMC employee turns to stewards on duty that day.

The fact that Ehab got the wrong end of the stick and hastily dismisses them, and then wouldn't go back on what he did certainly wouldn't surprise me at all.
