Danns is a good signing - Yes he is.

Mills is a good player but never worth £5m - Perhaps not, but he is still the best Centre Back (now Ashley Williams has left and assuming the Birmingham duo do to) in this division. We had to overpay for quality because of Wolves and Stoke who can offer Prem football.

Schmeichel is a good shot stopper, but the rest of his game is **** - Based on what? From what I have seen of him he makes few mistakes. He is also passionate and he wants to do well, also based on his age he has time to improve. He is in the top 5 keepers in the league.

St.Legder is not as good as the player he's replaced - Disagree, although there isn't a 750k difference, I believe that SSL is a better player than Hobbs. SSL can play football where Hobbs has an urge to hoof whenever a round object is in his vicinity.

Nugent was brilliant for Preston five years ago, but has done **** all since - Another player who has struggled in the Premier League. He has spent two seasons out of his past 5 or 6 in this league. Once he wa out and out striker for Preston and scored 20+ and last season where he was winger (in a poor side) and still managed 14.

Peltier looked all right in League One, but he looked way out of his depth playing for us in the Championship - So your telling me that players do not gain experience? You tell me that players do not flourish when in a successful team? Lee is young and will be able to be in another successful side (all being well) and become better and better.

Konchesky just had a nightmare season, though he was decent before and probably will be again. - He had a nightmare season.... At Liverpool <doh> We're Leicester, a million miles from England's most successful side. He was quality for Roy Hodgson at Fulham where they got to the Euro finals.

They're all just my opinion and in answer to the questions posed:

My opinion on Schmeichel is based on based on his performances last season, I obviously saw the two games against us, but also several televised games, as they seem to be on every few weeks(Leeds already have 7 televised games announced for the early part on next season). His shot stopping is great, but his command of his area is poor, his positioning is often terrible and his distribution is weak, those deficiencies prevent him from being in the top five.

Nugent did do all right last season, though he was played as a striker whenever I saw him(he was played out wide for much of his time at Pompey, but Cotterill played him as a striker as far as I was aware), he was definitely played as a striker at Burnley the previous season and managed just 6 in 30 games.

Peltier may well have improved, I was merely pointing out that the only time he's played in the Championship previously was for us and he wasn't very good, but as you say, he might well have come on by now.

As for Konchesky, I wasn't meaning just Liverpool, he played just as many games for Forest last season and they were less than impressed. As I mentioned, he was good before and there's no reason why he can't be good again.

They might all turn out to be excellent and you might walk the league, I just think you could probably have done better for £10m.

I think the criticism comes from the fact that you've spent a lot of money, but not got a lot for it, ironically, your best signing was on a free.

Danns is a good signing, Mills is a good player but never worth £5m, Schmeichel is a good shot stopper, but the rest of his game is ****, St.Legder is not as good as the player he's replaced, Nugent was brilliant for Preston five years ago, but has done **** all since, Peltier looked all right in League One, but he looked way out of his depth playing for us in the Championship and Konchesky just had a nightmare season, though he was decent before and probably will be again.

The players you've signed aren't bad, but they're not great either and you're overpaying for them, I'm not surprised Sven's decisions are being questioned. I think we've made better signings and we've only spent £1.6m and all on players on half the wages of those you're signing. I think you'll be top six, but I don't think you'll get an automatic spot, though you never know, Sven might get to spend another £10m to spend next week.

Ok so our signings aren't world beaters - but newsflash - we're in the Championship. I'[m struggling to see a team who have got a better group of players - Cardiff have brought in a couple of decent signings but they've lost more. Ipswich have replaced Wickham and have a **** squad to start with. Leeds have lost a bunch and gained very little. Forest have done nothing. Birmingham have done very little. Hull? You haven't made better signings, you've signed Hobbs, who's a decent defender but not better than Mills, Mckenna who's an average player in his mid 30s, and Adebola, who's ****ing useless.

So lets take a step back a moment, ignore the price tags - we've got a better group of players than most of the sides in this league. West Ham are the only team who have a similar quality of squad. Even before the signings we have some of the best players in the league in King, Wellens and Gallagher. Our problem last season was plugging the gaps with loan players, which didn't always work, and mending the train wreck that Sousa left behind. All in all we've come on remarkably under Sven, even if he did make mistakes at the back end of last season. So far he's gone a good way to convincing me he's learning from his mistakes with the signings we've made.

Really I get the feeling most people expect us to be signing the likes of Jack Wilshere and Javier Hernandez. We're in the Championship for god's sake, we've signed some top championship players, with hopefully a couple more key ones to come. I don't see anyone else making amazing signings that we should be afraid of...

Enlighten us, please.

Baring in mind we're still a Championship club, even if we do have money.

And Nugent did play out wide often last season. In any case 14 is more than your star striker Fryatt got for us when we finished 5th in 2010. And Nugent won't be our main striker anyway.

Did I mention we're not finished yet?

Nugent came out and said to our official website that he played on the wing and scored 14.

You lot have half filled the Hull City board claiming that they are world beaters though, that was my point.

They may be, we'll find out soon enough, I just think there's a fair bit of risk with the players you've signed, considering the money you've spent. You'll certainly be up there and I don't consider us to be top two contenders at the moment, but as things currently stand, West Ham's squad is in a different class to everyone elses.

Find me a quite where any of us stated they are world beaters.

You lot claimed your Man Utd rejects are on par with the signings we have made which is delusional to be frank.

You could of put Peter Schmeichel is the Leeds goal last season and he would of conceded aload of goals. When you have people like Richard Naylor, Alex Bruce and Andy O'Brien defending you, you are going to concede alot of goals. Stick Sol Bamba, Matt Mills and Sean St. Ledger ahead of him and it will be a different story

You think I've never seen the likes of Danns, Schmeichel, St.Ledger and Nugent play?

Are you mad?

<doh>

Apart from that Dudgeon guy I have seen your signings play.

We once had a 19 year old centre half with far higher potential than him and he was ****e.

Your welcome to Dele Adebola and Paul Mckenna. I'm sure they will be fabulous additions to your squad.

Can I just say that at least we are now being mentioned on the likes of the BBC in general. I think I can count on the fingers of 1 hand, how many times there were any in depth articles about us anywhere on the BBC last season, IIRC we seemed to be just an afterthought, along the lines of "Oh yeah, and Leicester played someone today."

regards

Neal.

We've already established that you've seen Stewart play once, in the game at the KC, but neither Evans nor Chester were City players for that game and neither appeared in any televised games, do you come and watch some other Hull City games live, or are you just full of ****?
