worried about the Upson one.
Is it just me thinks he is a liability?
Even when he looks to be playing well he makes horrendous mistakes that cost his teams goals!
 
I'm good with Upson personally. He is a good age and has a wealth of experience. I'd be happy to see him in a red & white shirt.


These are next stage signings IMO. Not top 4 but certainly good enough to improve us.

In theory yes Upson could be a good signing, but hasn't he struggled with injuries recently and I think your spot on about his ability to ship vital goals at crucial moments, can we afford to have another player as liable to mistakes as Ferdinand in a back 4?
 
Sky bet are usually a waste of time. Last week Berbatov was favourite to sign for the mags. I think there is too much panic and reaction to newspaper headlines. Most teams have not made their moves yet.
 
These kind of markets take tiny amounts in wagers, thus the odds swing dramatically.

If one of us was to put £50 on us signing Defoe now, he'd be close to evens in minutes.

It means nowt.
 
Why would anyone want to go to the Villa at the minute?

They are going to be in total meltdown if the first 2 or 3 results go badly.
