Why did they position the microphones well away from the East and North stands?
There are times on the TV coverage you can hear that plenty are singing, but you could hear the coaches shouting over it because they're sat on the microphones.
I know they adjust it to make Old Trafford and Stoke sound like there's an atmosphere, but am I paranoid or are they trying to engineer a perceived reputation here?
If anything, the noise coming over means the atmosphere's not as bad as we think and probably better than a lot of other clubs.
