Nice one Wishi, let's just invite the WUMs in.

Let them come. If they've got an answer in amongst all the rubbish they talk we might just find it.

Besides I have a right to sound off. As we all do. Last time I looked this is a democracy not North Korea.

Anyway, I agree with David Schofield in part.

A lack of ability on the wings and poor buys are why LFC probably won't make top 4 this season.

When was the last time LFC had a wingers who could regularly beat a man and whip in consistently good crosses and chip in with a few goals.

If your going to play one up top in the middle then the service needs to be good, better than good because your relying on one guy to score the goals. You can't mix it around, find another way through because LFC don't look like having a plan B. If you can't play your way through the middle you don't score atm.

Downing was a good idea... but you should have done your business earlier and gone for young instead.

One poor result too many for me. I've remained calm but not now.

Go and buy a striker.

What a mess!!

The striker bought for £35 million is not even worth £3.5 million in today's market. He is competing with Torres as the biggest underachiever ever. The other striker for the scousers is better value and yet he couldn't keep mouth shut and had to get himself banned for 8 weeks.

That first premiership league title for the scousers is as far away as it has ever been.

Thanks for that...

What rock did you crawl from under? Haven't heard from you in ages. You need a hug? <hug>

Disagree.

I think we are 3 points off fourth which is hardly an amount that can not be pulled back.

We are dropping silly points which is frustrating but the positive side i will take from it is we are trying to win and its spurned chances that are costing us not our in-ability to attack teams.

Over the years we have been blessed with some quality strikers in Rush, Fowler and the two players who decided the grass was greener in Owen and Torres.

If any of those four were playing for us now whilst in their prime we wouldn't be talking about fourth i firmly believe we would be talking about a title challenge.

The amount of chances we have missed either by the keeper pulling off a good save or us hitting the woodwork is unreal.

So much of this can be put down to bad luck but there comes a point where that can no longer be blamed and poor finishing has to be the culprit.

People say why does the opposition keeper always have a world class game but the reality is we are letting the keepers make these saves but for me this is just excuses for bad finishing.

Over the summer we have made loads of changes we both incomings and outgoings but one thing we didn't buy is a quality goalscorer.

We have the building blocks of a very good side but are missing a true number 9.

Balanced assesment<ok>

Its just the finishing, yeah at times we haven't been fantastic but we as at yesterdays game made enough to win the game easily but failed to take a penalty and 2 clear cut chances, even Suarez' header probably should have been scored. If we were more clinical we'd be 3rdish

The thing that gets me is, judging by Kenny's post-match interview, he knows what the ****in' problem is, but there's no ****in' improvement! <doh>

Downing is a ****in' donkey yet he still insists on playing him. And OK, January's coming up, we might spend, but on what?

I know Rome wasn't built in a day and all this but how the **** can you keep the faith in something that just isn't ****in' working?

Kenny is infinitely superior to Hodgson, but FFS we were supposed to be competing for top 4 and it's all going wrong!

You can't be writing children's books using language like that Wishi.

He could write the new Harry "****ing Speccy 4eyes Twat" Potter books <ok>

On topic...I am mighty ****ed off with recent results and as I said yesterday "on current form" we won't be anywhere near 4th by the end of the season...however we ARE still well in touch with Champs League places and if we can hang on in there through our rough patch then if the goals start to flow we still have a chance. No panic yet but massive efforts needed to improve results.

My other upside is this...Kenny hasn't exactly got a terrible record when it comes to managing teams that score goals...he'll sort it, but hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later <ok>

"He's" a 'she, mate.

We can still get fourth easily, there is a long way to go and we should get a decent striker in Jan that can actually put the ball in the net.

I never said you didn't have the right; but it helps nobody with sensational titles such as this. Do you truly believe the highest we can finish is 6th?

*talk absolute bollocks*

*get told by another poster that you're talking bollocks*

*throw a hissy fit and claim you have every right to post any opinion you want*

We are still just about in it, but more down to our competitors being as naff as us, than us being playing glittering footy

Its lookin like Spurs are gonna get top 4 no probs, and its 1 from 3 for 4th, with us being outsiders of the 3,and like JWH said, it would be diappointing if we didnt get top 4,especially after the cash we spent, which was in a lot of fans eyes largely wasted

As long as its not abusive I think as fans we are allowed to criticise our own team,I dont think anyone as gonn OTT, IMO with the money we spent which Spurs and Le Arse didnt spend we are underachieving

And I would be more critical of Kenny than the like of Downing ,Carroll, and Hendo. After all he signed them, a lot of fans didnt think they were the right players from the off, including me.I think the players mentioned above are doing there best, and there best isnt that much better than the way they are performing now, its just they dont have enough quality in the first place
