Syd I dont know why our site is dying as you say, but , and I have expressed this before, If people interact by reading a post, then giving just a small reply, such as `nice one` or award stars, even saying `crap`, it is a response. With my shift patterns and occupation / location, I cant realy get into the real live as it happens banter, so I make do with reading everybodys posts, and as often as I can I post some comment, just to let the poster know he has not wasted his time, and I know you valiantly try to keep the wheels turning, I recon your head must burst trying to think up new topics, but fair play you give it your best, by the way I have a badge for being the last person to post on others articles, and thats only cos I respond to those posts.
last night was different, we got beat, they took the piss, its to be expected, do the BBC606 trick then, gie them recipes or just dont bite, it is quite easy to just ignore them you know, if they make piss taing posts and get 0 replies at all, they wil soon get bored and not bother anymore, the more bites they get (good and bad) the more they will take the piss.
Its the posts where they just give an oppinion or are joining in with the debate, and then it all kicks off, which pisses me off, and no I am not a soft ****e, i just think it makes us look childish and immature, Ok if we were in primary school then go for it, but we are growing men ffs. surely we can rise above it.
Too many folk on this board dismiss anything football, just because a Mag wrote or commentated on an article, even though the article or comment was well balanced, and well argued, such folk are seemingly well thought of, well not by me, I have been many times on the mag site and experianced the same ****, but ignoring the fools, get decent football talk, from decent football fans, seems on our boards if its a mag GO FOR HIM.
