Might as well have a laugh now, just in case we can't later. I love ****ing Alsatians. Or is that I ****ing love Alsatians?
On a Top Gear episode they were in Albania & aparently the word 'Car' means Penis & the word 'Peach' means Fanny (artistic licence there). Do you think Judas Bent drove his car into Amy's Peach??
No way Syd, although I have been just as pissed off as you and others with the BiB and BoB saga, it would be a crying shame if our board went down the pan. It's been many a year since I was feeling so low with the team. A very poor start to the season had many of us on a major downer, resulting in all of the in fighting and arguing amongst each other. A run of good results should lift everyones spirits and bring about the return of positivity and laughter that we used to enjoy on here a very short time ago. I'm hoping for a good win tonight, following the great result against Stoke. Ha'way the lads!
I would imagine that NCP are probably envious of the amount of PL players cars that have parked in that peach.
Ah Ha, so that's what Judas meant about being "sick of the speed bumps" when he said he was leaving us...
This board can be brilliant, funny hilarious laugh out loud but there are times recently when I have gone to bed more depressed with the comments on this board than any Sunderland result.
I know we are all very passionate about SAFC but I really do believe a lot of people need to lighten up a bit and enjoy the ride (I've heard a lass called Amy does)
Evening Scatty, know what you mean. Apologies for Shacks' and I's meandering into the world of automobiles and fruit. Has anyone ever mentioned that your sig can be misread??
I dont mind the BIBs and BOBS arguments, problem is neither is going to budge from what they believe, only results and Quinn/Short will decide that, so yes, its a bit pointless, but its not that bad imho. What has pissed me off more than anything, is the MAG hatred, and it is that, shear Hatred, what is a good thread turns into a "**** off on your own board" tripe, and its every single time. If you dont like what they are saying (even though a lot of it is fine) then just dont bite, let others that want to discuss points with them, discuss them, you dont have to put your 2 cents in all the bleeding time.
Well said, that man. "Are we going to let this board die because dying it sure is." Can't agree, Syd. I feel the board has been extremely lively recently. I think the BIBs vs BOBs argument is the one most important point of discussion that concerns SAFC at the moment. People are of course free to post on whatever aspect of the club they want but this is one thing that won't go away. Even if Bruce should leave, it will still rage on. The only time it will come near to being settled will be at the end of the season when we see where we are and who the manager is. Only then will BIBs or BOBs be vindicated but till then, let the verbal jousting continue as far as I'm concerned. If you feel that BIBs vs BOBs starts hi-jacking a thread which treats a totally different matter, is it feasible to open a permanent BIB/BOB thread and transfer any irrelevant reference to BIB/BOB into that thread?
I think the BiBs/BoBs thing will run for at least another two seasons now. If we were in the top 6 at the end of the season, the BoBs would say 2 bad and 1 good season - let's see how he does next year. The Bibs will complain and say Bruce has learnt from his mistakes and the BoBs will reply 'If he learns from his mistakes, how come we had two bad years? And so on. I think Steve has burnt up so much of his credit this last two Springs, it'll take an awful lot to get people back on board now. I can't see an end to that. Tonight we're back to square one, but then we're just fans. The only real question is 'How many square ones does Ellis Short have on offer before he loses patience with Bruce - and with Quinn if necessary? Niall cannot - and I hope for his own sake, will not - go on trying Ellis's patience. i'd personally be glad to see the back of Bruce, but very, very sad indeed if he took Quinn with him. How long ... ?
