Guys

Simon Grayson has produced the goods tonight about bates/williams

Hes received his final payment from leeds so has been able to open up about bates.

Anyone who follows me on twitter please copy n paste the retweets ive just done please

:)

Some amazing quotes on twitter if people are able to have a look. Basically confirming everything said before about promised funds not being provided, players (e.g. Howson) being sold against their wishes etc.

Grayson: "I've been sacked twice, once by a big club(Huddersfield) and the second time by a small club down the road"

Im using my phone atm so cant copy it pal

Tc do copy more of the grayson tweets :)

"Grayson said Howson was sold against player's own wishes. He was promised funds from the sale...2 days later while at Robbie Rogers employment tribunal, Grayson received a text saying the money would be banked. Was fuming, sacked after"

Grayson on Gary Cooper: "Ken's eyes and ears, a snake in the grass and a ****er" Glyn Snodin: "A right horrible fat bastard!" #LUFC
Retweeted by Adam Chubby Webster

<laugh> are these actual grayson tweets. I understand his frustration but I also am assuming he never wants another job... highly unprofessional to bad mouth a previous employer so publicly regardless of whether you were treated poorly or not.

He was speaking at an event with fans tonight

There's not a lot that most of us didn't suspect already. One interesting piece is max definitely wants to come back, how awesome would that be. None of our top players wanted to go but were all forced out, no surprise there. Bates wasn't at the club for football reasons but money, no surprise there either. Fair play to Simon for publicly lifting the lid. This won't do any harm to gfh popularity. Thank god they got bates out in the nick of time

What I'm struggling with is Im reading comments on other forums and some are genuinely shocked. i can't believe there are or were still Leeds fans who thought Bates wasn't too bad and maybe some stories were exaggerated. Any of those looking in, get our heads out of the sand lads, he damn nearly ****ed us completely and we were warned often enough. Even the examination of our accounts a year before he sold, conducted on behalf of LUST, clearly showing the various holes and shortfalls, was ridiculed by some and classed as scaremongering.

Eireleeds1 - there are still a few that post that he-who-has-departed put us on a stronger financial foot.

Just like the old South African leadership that claimed blacks in South Africa were better off than the blacks in the rest of Africa.

Gee - thanks a lot!

Grayson should have grown a pair and walked from the job the first time the legs were pulled from under him. unfortunately even when dealing with Cnut face, this looks a bit of sour grapes and self publicity. Wait for the book and newspaper serialisation. Someone else is playing with our emotions.

If he was independently wealthy, he might have done.

Perhaps he thought that despite the handicaps he might still make a go of it?

I think he stuck with us cos he's Leeds and he cared. If u were Leeds manager would you walk away unless it was the best thing for the club? I wouldn't
