I was also a bit puzzled why M'bokani started yesterday instead of Niasse who has been playing well.
I can only think Silva identified the need to slug it out with a very physical team to gain control of the game, and it was noticeable in the way City managed to dominate Burnley in midfield (something we haven't done often this season). Huddlestone, Harry and N'Diaye all looked like they'd been on a red meat diet in Portugal and altogether it shows Silva recognises a relegation dogfight will require more than just tippy tappy football especially when we play the teams around us.

That was our worse league performance under Silva , thought Burnley were equally as poor TBH , also thought we got away with a few decisions , at least got the best of a poor show I guess

Could be worse

The previous two times they've visited the kc in the prem they hammered us

Going to be a long hard scrap.. still not got out the relegation zone yet
We need to win soon

we got Leicester next.

Was looking forward to the game and was really disappointed.
Too deep.
Too slow.
Mbok isolated.
Didn't commit men forward when we were attacking.

The last few games have been exciting, need to get back to it next week.

I do think that Douche set up Burnley well to deal with us but we really didn't put them under any pressure.

Wow! A rare contribution from you gtt and good to see you around again. How is Roaring Tiger? Haven't seen him post in several years. My wife tells me he will be 16 this July.

There's only one thing I hate more than zonal marking, and that's short corners.

I am loathe to criticise anything Mr Silva does as he has breathed new life into City like I never imagined, but I'd rather he ditched the zonal stuff. I do realise that this often tends to be the favoured way of doing things on the continent though.

Seems the better teams struggled with Marco's tactics. While two English managers have taken him to school.
We didnt sort out Burnely and we certainly didnt sort out Leicester. I saw no plan to look after Vardy.

Coincidence thats the worst two games Tom Huddlestone has had in months? No I dont think so.

He's still been alright these two games. Maybe he was better before those games (I wasn't there) but he's certainly looked better in these two than he did for most of 14/15.
