The reply will be Barkley can't take FK's etc. But he can and has scored some beauties. But dropped behind Rom and Baines in pecking order.
Neither of them are worth £50 or £100m. I hope that we have eyes on another target or two as Koeman has stated he would prefer 2/3 players who can chip in with 15 goals a season rather than one. That £50m would go a long way to solving it
We've apparently dangled £135k a week in front of his agents nose, be interesting to see if you're left with a disgruntled player when the dust settles.
Stick with Barkley lads, you just wouldn't know what to do with the superior class of Siggy!..............
It's a very simple situation : We (Swansea) value him at £50M. In reality he's worth more than that to us (Swansea) Everton don't value him at £50M, so that's end of story isn't it ? The reason he's worth more than £50M to Swansea is that he was extremely important in keeping us in the PL last season - a prize worth £100M plus. So in what world should Swansea think it's a good idea to let him go unless it's a crazy price ? I don't think a new Tesla model X is worth £80,000 plus, but I'm not bitching to Tesla telling them to lower their price so it's suits me. It's their product and they decide the price. I have to buy something that I can afford and consider a fair price. After watching Sigurdsson and Barkley, I'd definitely prefer to have Sigurdsson in my team. Not saying Barkley isn't a good player, just that Sigurdsson is much more a complete player.
Nobody is bitching to Swansea about the fee. I just feel we have a little layer who does what Sigurdsson does already on the books and another from Ajax who offers goals. And Rooney. So would prefer to spend on another big man up front and that would be a player I thought we would have gone for in the past....Benteke.
Really. He almost offers what Lukaku does, maybe has better holdup play. But not so good at playing off the shoulder of the last man. At Villa And Palace he has netted. Liverpool was a mistake for him
