You can keep him, in my personal opinion he is not a player I feel would improve us. His stats are good for a No.10....but would prefer we concentrated on keeping Barkley and spending the money on Keane from Burnley to shore us up at the back, maybe even a bid for Chilwell as a long term LB

It's funny how we got the Ajax no.10 in already.

The lad went to spurs and flopped. Maybe the setup is suited to him at Swansea and he is the main man. An Icelandic Matt LeTissier

Trouble is after last season (our worst) we are going to fight tooth and nail to keep our best players, and strengthen to get back to a top half finish as we have done in previous seasons.

We have signed Chelsea's Abraham, on loan for the season (scored tonight against Germany U21's), also completing a midfielder transfer from La liga, beating Roma to him as replacement for Leon Britton, so it's going to be tough to price players from us at the minute........... <ok>

I hope so, I personally don't want hunk he would offer more than we have and if he is doing well at Swansea and is on a decent contract(cash and length)then I'm shocked we would spend £30m plus on a player racing towards 30 and going against what we appear to be doing...bringing squad age down.

Would rather Keane and Chilwell were signed.

Just read on another site that you have all but signed Siggy, anyone on here heard that?
Yes mate, almost certainly means that Barkley is off if we complete it imo.

Good or bad thing?
I get the feeling Barkley is your Ox or Walcott, loads of potential but never quit looking like getting there, I know he is younger but should still be starting to settle by now.

He's an idiot to turn down over £100k a week at his boyhood club, where's he going to get a starting berth every week at a side better than ours? He's pissed on his own chips imo.

Surely you haven't outbid "massively rich and ambitious" Leicester.....<whistle>

No they have not outbid Leicester, and I doubt they will either, just trying to turn our star players head, but it will not work............<ok>

Shot yourselves in the foot valuing Barkley at £50 million. I like our owners stance, cough up or, you know the rest!...........:1980_boogie_down:

Honestly, keep him. He offers something we already have.

Something that's not worth £50m and even at £20m I wouldn't be that bothered.
