More tweets more crap!

We always wanted younger players and players we could develop. Was so hard with past teams. Now we got right team who think long term.

Selling McCarthy a young keeper and keep Green? Then try to do a swap deal.

We need to build a solid base so when we go up we stay up. Jimmy les and Chris and lee are doing that. We got good guys now.

Solid base by selling your best striker for peanuts!

Yesterday was story out our season. Frustrating . Cruel luck. Post hit. Double deflection. But sure we heading in right direction.

Story of our season was employing Benny who was not good enough and he ruined the season. They you re-employ him?

I wonder if Tony's comments are part of his short/medium or long term plans? He should stick to drawing pictures of fantasy training grouds and stadiums because every time he tweets he talks crap.
    Muppet

I don't think we had much choice with Austin. We tried to get rid in the summer and none of the clubs he wanted would match our quite low valuation.

But yes, in general, he's a muppet who should just stay away and let people who know what they're doing try and fix his mess.

One could argue that retaining Harry Redknapp once we'd achieved promotion was a mistake.

On Monday 26 May 2014 - at a sober moment after a weekend of celebration - we should have sat down and thought long and hard about how we wished to approach the new season.

If it was going to be unlikely to achieve the vision of cementing a new young team in the EPL with Harry at the helm, that would've been the time to make the change.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

Many of us on here were of that opinion based on the shyte football we endured in our promotion season. Sadly, TF had his pants pulled down again...

Bit harsh on the Austin comment as I'm not sure what the club could have done differently with a player who has only 6 months left on his contract announces he wants to leave after having said previously that he didn't. And if McCarthy had a release clause then same applies, out of the clubs hands.

Austin.... I am talking about after promotion he should have had his contract sorted. Remember we were in the Premiership a year before he had 6 months left on the contract. Should have been sorted long before it got to that stage.

McCarthy... He was our player! He was young and someone for the future. Why keep Green and lose McCarthy to Palace?

Because we keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

No one would take Green.

McCarthy had a release clause which was met.

I don't know how much clearer it can be.

So drop Green and play McCarthy. Green was making clangers throughout the year. Won't accept it other than a f up by the club. That and Charlie contract.

Palace made an offer, and probably increased his wage. Maybe he'd have stayed if he was our number one but probably not with the allure of Prem football and probably better money. If he insisted on a relegation release clause then he probably backed himself to be worth a spot in a Premier League team.

Take your point re Austin, whether he would have signed another contract we will never know

I think it's too easy to be overly critical of Tony Fernandes.

I agree, some mistakes have been made; but his determination and vision cannot be in question.

Here's what he said back in August 2014.

I think it's still very relevant.

He has about as much respect for QPR fans as I do for the turd I stepped in yesterday.

I thought Austin was offered a new contract but wouldn't sign it?

This is not true. Where do you get this information from?
As if Charlie wouldn't sign a contract straight after promotion. Am i actually reading this? <doh>
Do people just make up stuff for the sake of it?
