As the title says, in this thread I urge EVERYONE (Even supporters of other clubs) to support Suarez despite the 'Guilty' verdict.

I've seen some people turning their back on one of our own, surely not? Liverpool through and through, our player has been accused of racism, seemingly on one man's word. And for any other club supporters, lets all show our support in one thread and stand up to the FA and Patrice Evra (Who, in his opening statement, admitted he didn't believe Suarez is a racist)

On a side note: Evra should be ashamed of himself if this turns out to prove Suarez's innocence, we all know what the alleged word means and it would be disgraceful for Evra to seemingly use the racism card and ignore the real injustices all those years ago.

The FA have to been seen to be supporting the "Kick racism out of football" campaign.

The FA have always been ridiculously inconsistent though. We have had players banned for offences that others have got away with and have been told just to suck it up instead of complaining.

I'm sure Liverpool will probably appeal and get the ban reduced.

On topic...I'll reserve judgement until I've seen what evidence the FA have based an 8 game ban on. If it is just on Evras word then it's a ****ing outrage and opens Pandoras Box...if however the FA has hard and incontrovertible evidence that he's made racist slurs against Evra then the lad deserves the ban and a volley up the arse as well.

He admitted to saying it in a non-insulting way, on top of that, the word translated isn't racist.

 

My loyalty is to Liverpool rather than specifically Suarez. If they believe Suarez is innocent then I will follow that.

From what I've read so far he has been found guilty on what Evra has said and that alone. I don't beleive that anyone should be branded a racist on such little evidence.

Suarez grandfather and other members of his direct family are mixed race.

 

Add that onto my stance.
