Your replies and likes seem to point to you not really grasping what it is.

Seriously, Dutch, your point is made, not everyone will agree with all aspects of it and you constantly repeating it starts to erode it.

I have changed just two words in what you wrote, to show another way of looking at it.

The club weren't listening back then, they have never admitted to anything wrong, so it would seem they have learnt nothing at all to date. They certainly are not listening now, far from it, as they are continuing their ridiculous strategy and do not even acknowledge concerns from supporter groups (unless someone can show different?). So who is the Trust supposed to be discussing what with?

Those folk that your continued complaint is aimed at have admitted their error of judgement, they have resigned positions of influence and those that are now in those positions have taken up the fight and are actively progressing it. In all good faith I think many of us can understand how the previous folk trusted the owners too much and became just another victim of the owners machinations. Any amount of finger pointing and acrimony is not going to change that; it's time to move on.

The Trust have rolled both issues together, they have not ignored forced movement, but they do see that their best leverage is from focusing more on the lost concessions - that is their decision to make, it is why they were elected - a great many people agree with this, in a very democratic way. If you are so unhappy with the strategy of the club and the Trust (are you a member?) then, perhaps, you might think it appropriate to progress your own constructive campaign, gather like minds and forge something new, instead of constantly seeking to undermine the efforts of other.

(Just putting tongue in cheek) Or, perhaps, you might ban yourself from this hallowed board for a couple of weeks as a penalty for not moving on when asked - I seem to recall that was your remedy, wasn't it? :emoticon-0105-wink:

Meanwhile...back in the land of the protests against the membership scheme, I have a question

Why will there be no red card protest at the home play off leg?

The HCST message refers to the last protest being at the away leg tomorrow

Thank you all in anticipation of a brief cessation of squabbling so someone can answer my query

For the avoidance of doubt, I'm not answering for the Trust, this is just my opinion:

The point of the red card protest was to show the owners the widespread dissatisfaction with the new membership scheme. This has been done very successfully, but the point has been made and continuing with it is not going to get the point over to them any more than has been done already (in fact, it's likely that progressively people will get bored and less people will bother).

The point of doing it once more at Derby, is that it's a televised game that's likely to get big viewing figures and it gets the message out to a wider audience (you could argue that it would make more of an impact done again at the home game, but I'm not sure that Sky will give it much airtime if they've already done it on the Saturday).

There was never much of a realistic chance of successfully pulling off a similar protest at Wembley and we might not even get there, so it had to stop somewhere and I think it's a perfectly reasonable decision to do it on Saturday and then move on to other things.

I guess, like people realigning my point or deciding what my "argument" is, it's about perceptions. We can't always get them right.
