No slater didn’t
And I know you want to forget the scrapping honeyman did in there constantly harassing the opposition
You don’t get that from seri slater or Tufan

Doc scrapped as hard, So did Eaves and Smallwood. We still have Doc. Ali will be a miss in that respect.

I'll reiterate that I'd have kept George but he didn't like the look of what was on offer.

He's now warming down off Milwall's bench with George Long, taking the splinters out of eachothers arses.

He's a Journeyman. Like many others.

I couldn’t give a **** what honey man is doing now
Why are you snide about players who did a great job for the team

I think Shota has a chance up to the international break, but then we should get rid

Are we really talking about sacking the manager after 9 games?

After signing 15 players he needa a full season to bed them all in.

I think our start increased expectations.
This thread was made as a joke after we beat Peterborough, but realistically, it’s now more of a real thread.
Shota should have gone at the end of last season, it’s a failed experiment, it’s time Acun woke up & realised it before the inevitable relegation battle kicks in.
We’ve got rid of managers in the past, we’ve gone on to better things, Molby, Parkinson & to some extent Slutsky.
I like Shota, but unfortunately I don’t see him getting anywhere no matter how long we give him & how many players come back from injury.
Saturday will see us slip further down the league when Swansea beat us.
I’ve said before, I’d love Shota to make it, I just think it’s too much for him.

From what I have seen so far, Shota is the type of coach who needs players fit and available to suit how he wants to play, as yet, and for that reason, I think Acun will give him time, to allow players to get back from injury and up to speed. Whether that proves to work or not only TWT.

Unfortunately, he does not seem capable it seems of organising a team, unlike say a Potter, and mould players into an effective unit, even if they are not playing in their normal positions.

As yet the balance of the team is not right, I think they did need a defensive central midfielder to protect the back line, and I have to say on the whole I am not impressed with Figgy, I thought he would prove to be better than he has been so far, so a big imposing centre half is needed who can dominate the penalty area.

You see syd that’s how you shut the boring **** up trying to tell everyone what to think
The most tedious boring **** on here. I’m sure one of his mates will be along soon tho

I did love the irony of him complaining about you calling him names when that's all he has in his locker when he can't argue a point.

Better and more successful managers than Shota have failed in this division and less experienced ones than Shota have been successful. Slutsky once got a team into the Champions League quarter-finals but wasn’t cut out for the Championship. I don’t know if Shota is cut out. I think a decision will be made by Acun no sooner than late October.

Who said: 'A week is a long time in politics'. Today, 9 games in football is an eternity. I don't think he'll get his p45 any time soon. But what do I know? Nowt.
For a bonus point who has the record for the shortest management role in football, said to be timed at around 30 mins?

We look so poor in defence. Brought 1 defender in so Shota must of been happy with what he saw. Clearly going to be ripped a good few times before the next window. I know defence starts in midfield but don’t see the defensive midfielder brought in either.
Start the season was amazing and exciting but if the teams we beat had not missed some sitters we would be bottom 6 if not worse. Still plenty of time to sort this out but defensively wise it will take the next transfer window which Acun won’t be happy about.
