So I think we are mathematically safe on Friday if either we get anything or Barnsley fail to win right?

They have 15 points to play for and we are 15 points ahead. (not to mention a big goal difference cushion)
We need to keep our foot on the pedal and pick up as many points as we can. Not because we need them but because it's much better to have saved ourselves than to have depended on others failing.

Barnsley have six games left. We have five. We should be fine.

Ah yes I forgot the game we both have in May! To be fair I'm on holiday in UAE and I've been drinking all day.

I agree we'll be fine but was just thinking about being absolutely uncatchable. Not that is really matters as none of us down here are going to win everything.

It's going to be an interesting season next season. And a very interesting transfer window. One way or another.

Shota on Turkish TV...

“We don't have time to practice. There are always matches. Thank God we managed to stay in the league.”

“This is a very tough league. There are at least 10 teams that have played in the Premier League. a fast, hard, dynamic league. The referees allow it. That’s nice.”

“English fans are much more patient than Turks. This gives us time. Our fans love our players and our team very much. They come even if we lose a match. This also has an effect on acun's acquisition of the club.”

“Acun didn't need to convince me. He said he would buy a club from England. We talked a little about it. I took over when I bought hull city. I also received offers in this process, but I came here because I promised Acun.”

“As Hull City, our main goal is to be in the Premier League.”

Yeah they're only friendlies I know, but in the 6 months he's been here have you seen any evidence that the manager can build and motivate a successful Championship team?

No. But he is the owners yes man. Do hope to be proved wrong of course. He does seem to be a genuine chap so I do hope he is successful.

Not looking particularly promising so far, but let's give the fella a chance to get this team to gel, we've invested in some decent players, down to him.to get a tune out of them or bye bye

there will come a time soon when Acun realises he should have employed a proven Championship manager like Chris Wilder & not his mate to manage his club. Shota is not going to get City into the Premier League & Acun needs to wake up & admit this
