Agree - odd timing - perhaps Acun's injury delayed meetings? Correct decision though, let's hope this is followed by a suitable appointment
3311:33 BREAKINGManagerial change at Hull City Shota Arveladze took over in the summer. Social embed from twitter ..... Are you sure BBC?
According to the e-mail I got from the club Acun & Tan met with Shota several times during the international break to talk about the direction of the team. Their views "weren't aligned" apparently so now he's gone. Wilder in? Anyway our chances of getting a result tonight have slightly improved IMO
I would be all in on getting Rob Edwards in charge. He is a great young manager, with a massive point to prove
It does seem bizarre timing, but you never know it might have the desired effect, and at least with AD he knows what sort of team is needed, so will be interesting to see later what the team will be tonight. Shota is a very decent bloke, so I wish him all the best for the future.
agree, sure he'll get another job in a less demanding league than the Championship. He looked a broken man & no job should do that to a person
At least the players should be putting the effort in and trying to impress whoever the new manager is going to be. Rather that than the players not being arsed and hoping the manager gets the sack
It's not that bizarre when you realise both Acun and Tan have been out of the country since the Swansea debacle, and both returned today for tonight's game. Something has been brewing all week. Hardly surprising though is it?
Well the timing is bizarre to say the least, not sure if they have agreed a replacement hence the delay but really can't understand it.
