Let the fans down and the players down today if we weren't so short of quality players I would get rid of him. Absolute idiot and will never learn he is a horrible little ****.

He has let everyone down......AGAIN he won't learn. He needs to apologise to everyone at the club. Now we go to Huddersfield with three first team players. Ashley's little clever cocky ****ing interview is going to blow up in his face.

The annoying thing is until then we where containing them well and looked like getting something. Shelvey is a complete and utter prick!

With his track record and bad attitude (compounded by today's petulant little display) who is going to take the risk and sign him?
However, if someone were daft enough to want him, l say get rid.
Three match ban, good, let's see wh Merino can do.
Even after the ban expires, l wouldn't be playing him again in a hurry.
If we can't get rid, let him rot, serves the stupid prick right.
And before all the cries of, but we are so thin, we don't have enough class players to bypass him.
Stop and think about what he cost us today.
I would rather have someone who cares, than all this lip service crap from him.
What was the point in training a month early? Losing weight and getting in good shape, if you behave like a toddler.

Shelvey shows yet again why he will never be anything other than average. He played **** and then was stupid enough to get sent off. Merino looked quality when he came on and he will get the chance to show what he is made of. I suspect that Rafa will be looking to move Shelvey on at some point. A liability.
