    From what I remember that was his debut as player manager too! Nothing like setting an example <laugh>

    I loved Archie Macpherson's commentary "and that is certainly a booking". He just about broke his leg!! How times have changed!

    Yeah, Souness was a great player but had a really nasty streak in him. Can't remember but i would guess the ref was in two minds as to whether to book him or not never mind sending him off. :rolleyes: Ahh, the good old days.
