His story is like some Hollywood film, maybe he could be he next (Goal 3 or 4 whatever we are up to).

Amazing story though, and even if he scored 1 goal which secured our PL future or even a European spot it would do me.

He's only here as cover and he knows that himself.

That's it then! It's decided! We need to think of a title for the film about Kuqi's life! I'll get the ball rolling...

"Eternal Shefki Of The Spotless Kuqi"....

Sorry...

I was raised by wolves as a baby on the plains of the Serengeti after my family were killed in a freak hovercraft crash and I was the only survivor but no-one ever wants to tell my story.

What an interesting read, I never realised he had such a backstory.

Really want to see him score now, it's be a great end to his career (assuming he doesn't go somewhere else after us).

Yes Cascarino, didn't he play for Repulic of Ireland on a fake passport? Oh and he is kind of hero he did score the Gillingham goal, that relegated Sunderland to the old 3rd Division in 1987. So he can't be that bad. :emoticon-0100-smile

As a full-time newcastle fan and a follower of Gillingham, it is nice to see this is still remembered (history to me, but my dads a life-long Gills sufferer). I always hope for a Newcastle away match to Gillingham in the FA cup, but alas, neither team stays in it long enough.
