Will be all crossed but 2-0 cum on u ull...CHANT...'tuesday, tuesday give us a song, while ur being licked by the dull kittens'...luv it.

Never had any issue with Weds fans, lets be right here we have more then enough muppets following City and lets not start poking fun at a club who recently got 39k for a friggin L1 match.

Whilst trying to claim they have better support they are essentially bragging about having more glory supporters than us.

Neither teams get close to 38k so a large proportion of the fans are glory supporters, it just so happens a lot of our glory supporters have got bored with Wembley trips and success or feel so distant from the club due to the owners. On the other hand this is the biggest game for Wednesday in 20 years, their glory supporters will be raiding the club shop ready for their big day.

Has anyone bothered to check if any club sides have made more than our 4 Wembley appearances in the past 8 years?

Man U (10), Chelsea (9), Arsenal (8), Portsmouth (5) then we're next I think. Still pretty impressive, in comparison Andorra have played there more than Sheff Wednesday.

Pompey is a surprise in the last 8 years, it' seems like longer since Brown Envelope took them tits up.

Still makes the point doesn't it? For a small club with a limited fanbase that is more disengaged with the club and its owners than at any time in its history, it's no surprise sales are struggling.

" I don’t know the meaning of the word hubris, which is a shame ‘cos straight after this I am taking part in a “define the meaning of the word hubris competition”. I’m not worried. I think I am definitely going to win anyway. " - Richard Herring

Based on the highest average attendance Sheff Wednesday are Yorkshires biggest team ( 41,000) followed by Leeds ( 39,000) then the tiny minnows from rugby league stronghold Hull ( 37,000) with Sheff U next (36,000)
These are rounded up figures but the significant thing is our highest average was when we were 2nd division club whereas the others were when they were in the old first division. As it happens had we gained promotion that season 1949-50 it is likely we would have topped Sheff Wednesday figure as up to Xmas when we were challenging our average home gate was 43,000.
Facts don't lie just like the league table.

Youre using average attendances from the whole of history to gauge who is biggest now?

Ah the city of Sheffield and the Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire.

I hate Sheffield.

So many memories of Rotherham, Bramall Lane and Hullsborough. SYP. Masses of the bastards coming to Hull. A febrile Kempton in full voice singing we only hate Sheff United, HATE SHEFF UNITED! Keith Edwards. Billy Whitehurst. Paul Heaton. Stephen Quinn. Harry Maguire. The Human League, Pulp, Arctic Monkeys. Pop hubris with ridiculous wessie accents. Revenge in the semi final 5 ****ing 3. Now its Wednesdays turn. Barmby@Hillsborough 12 years ago! This is their biggest game in a generation. We've dominated Yorkshire football for a decade. Crazy to get them at Wembley. Winner takes all.

Wessie accents?

Yeah that surprised me too but I suppose if you win the FA Cup that't 3 Wembley appearances right there.

South Yorkshire doesn't really exist does it? Now we're back to recognising three ridings; east, north and west, south must have gone the way of humbersaad, but someone forgot to tell them. Therefore they must be wessies.

Sheffields part of the Midlands isn't it?
