I assume that large new build opposite B&Q is a multi story car park ...but why are they building that there, its not very close the to centre ?
Yes it's the new mulit storey. It's right next to Vaux where loads of new developments are going up. They are expanding what has traditionally been seen as the centreI assume that large new build opposite B&Q is a multi story car park ...but why are they building that there, its not very close the to centre ?
I think the longer term planning is to find ways to either reduce the traffic through Keel Square, or even put the road underground, to open the whole area up to pedestrians. Any solution will be expensive.I thought the same, that’s a bit of a trek to the centre but makes sense with the redevelopment planned. I’d be sticking a footbridge to go over the main road near Keel Square like as the lights are rubbish. Especially during rush hour.
Really exciting to see it all taking shape mind.

Yes lots going on. The new housing should start soon, on both sides of the river and on the old civic centre site, bringing more people into the city centre to support local shops and nightlife.Existing car park next to the Beam shuts January 3rd for enabling works to start on the Hospital
