Anyone been reading about the inquiry into Gary Speed's death? the coroner said that there wasn't sufficient evidence to say it was a definite suicide. I'm still bemused as to why a man with the world at his feet would kill himself. Maybe he didn't?

The whole case is baffling, don't get how you accidentally kill yourself, sounds like he couldn't cope with the stress of management, which I find staggering as he always seemed to me someone who would easily be a successful manager.
He was made for management. A leader on and off the field, if that doesn't say mangement, i don't know what does. I can't believe the GC idiots are mocking this.

No, he wasn't drunk. The coroners report indicated there was a minimal amount of alcohol in him when death occured.
Oh dear, can almost hear the conspiracy theorists going crazy. Depression is a very odd thing.
Two points to make here.
1. On Gary Speed it proves how well we really know footballers, as I think every Newcastle fan would have said out of all our players in the last 20 years he was most likely to become a successful manager.
2. On GC they were mocking it on the day of the death and there was a massive fall out between the Newcastle fans and the GC lot, know there was Leeds and Swansea fans on here hacked off with it as well.
