So that restricts your options to your friends who are girlsmight as well go celibate. You've got to flirt with friends of friends etc, you don't actually have to go any where. It's just like banter with tits.

Of course I'm not just going to just flirt with friends, but I want to get to know a girl a little bit before flirting, I'm not just going to go up to a random girl at a bus stop and start flirting.
I think you've got the wrong definition in your head of flirting. What do you think it is? Because I got the impression that you needed to flirt at some stage to show that you're that into each other, and also to develop chemistry and learn more about the mind of the person.
Pretty much the exact opposite. People are generally worthless cockroaches so I have a switch that allows me to remain polite and amiable without having to hear them talk to me for more time than is necessary.

Pretty sure I don't have anything wrong in my head. From the day I met my girlfriend I've spoken to her like a normal human on an actual intellectual level without any need for 'teasing' or 'acting amorously without serious intentions'. I would love to know what you think I would learn about her mind by flirting with the girl I've grown to know more than anybody else for 7 years.

I can't really think of how I'd word my definition of flirting, but for me it's either
A) To show you're interested in someone
B) To enhance romantic chemistry
C) If someone's willing to flirt with you, it must mean they value you as at least someone they could relate to and trust, not just another random acquaintance.
D) Basically just to have a laugh and to entertain each other really.
But different people have different personality.
As I said I don't think I'd be able to provide a coherent definition, but I have an idea of it in my head, and to be honest I don't think about what It means, when you flirt you just know it's happening.
