I'd take it. I kinda prefer Carroll just limping nondescriptly through games though, it seems worse somehow than going out in a blaze of glory.
 
So what have we learned today? Williamson is **** way too slow cant tackle or pass and we need to replace him now. Krul has never made a decent save ever and is rubbish I hope Man U buy him off us, Santon is crap not strong enough and will never adapt to the English game stupid Italian ****, Danny ''back off'' Simpson, no explanation needed always knew he was rubbish etc etc etc

Just a quick point on Martin Jol. I thought he was excellent today, realised things weren't working and tried to use Sidwell's injury to change things by bringing Johnson on, who was instrumental in swinging the game in their favour. Then realised at HT that things still weren't working so he took Ruiz off, really proactive with his substitutions, not many would've made two changes so early in the game.

This isn't a veiled dig at Pardew by the way, just acknowledging Jol who I rate quite highly and who gets a lot of undue stick in my opinion. Tony Gale was saying he'd cost them the game at half time, be interesting to see how he tries to worm out of that on Football First. Not that I'll be watching. <cry>
