No-one is more important than the front man... ever.

Whilst everyone else farts about setting up he's off to the bar to get the beers to bribe the sound engineer for a good set-up.

Without the ability to bribe first - everything else is doomed to failure.

The guitarist equally important as a drummer?! What a ludicrous idea! It's hardly like the guitarist is one of the front men of the band <whistle>

<laugh>

Guitarists can just fade into the background... bass playing is what it's all about. Come watch us play, it's all about me baby :cool:

Naturally!

Can't believe we're not looking for a triangle player to be honest!!

Seems like a drummer is just a glorified triangle player anyway!

<laugh> Lead bass! Now that'd be something to see.

Although thinking about it, it has been done before: Death From Above 1979!

Lemmy - Motorhead?
Phil Lynott - Thin Lizzy?

The list could go on <whistle>

Front men though, rather than 'lead', but shush <whistle>

Colin Greenwood hit the nail on the head with Bassists.

I mean, I'm in a band, we're reasonably successful, I've got a very nice suit - I'm not even a bad person- so why can't I get a shag?
