Managed to get a PT weekend job today, one very big downside though, means even watching streams of daytime Sat/Sun games isn't going to happen <wah> But having money again will be nice...

In other news, back home now so time for some PokéTD, which it turns out can be downloaded from the guy's site.

Same, but luckily I'm working in TVs and they show Sky, hopefully will see some games!

First the 96 Twiiter campaign now this

Joey Barton for PM!!!!

Missed the first half of the quote out there, here it is in full, plus a post this minute.

This campaign has got me thinking, surely social media can bring people together to fight for a better society and demand accountability from MP's and our government. Am gonna go away and speak to some techies about a People Vs type website, to tackle issues in our society.

Well its blatantly obvious to me, that the youth of today r deeply unhappy with the powers that be. Cant be any harm in trying to make a dif.

People bang on about players being role models, when the get in trouble. Maybe today relevant football's and high profile public figures, should step up to the plate. Someone somewhere has to eventually?? Cameron's small society theory?

People think because they pay tax an NI, the Gov should do everything for them, they have a point! I believe that ppl should help each other within their own communities and try to take this dependency on Gov, away or definitely ease it slightly, thus making them accountable to certain specific demands, instead of making them accountable for everything all the time. We need to help each other, to help them, help us.
What he says is true though, and it's why the government tried to shut down social networks during the riot, it would set them a precedent to do so again any time they like or felt threatened.

Me, I'd have shut the Blackberry BBM down for that night of the riots......little hip-hop types using it to congregate to thieve...........no brainer really.

Don't tar the whole genre like that, unless you want to be as idiotic as the generation who thought rock and roll was corrupting youths. It's not a no brainer either, yes you'd make things slightly more awkward for them in the short-term, but long-term you'd have just set a precedent for the government to be able to shut down an entire communication at will, a very dangerous and easily exploitable power.

Instead of blaming, start thinking. "What can I/We do to help?" not "What r THEY doing about all this?" Its just an opinion. No doubt I'll get some Pos and Neg feedback, am just gonna sit back and listen for the next few hrs. Tweet away.......

He has a good point like! I wonder if this will make it onto the news like some of his other tweets <laugh> I might start a Joey Barton for prime minister campaign!

Steven Taylor on fantasy football, 9 points for each week now. 18 points in only 2 weeks.

6 each for clean sheets and 3 bonus points each week for good performances.

4.5 mil = Bargain for him <ok>

I'm trying to get Tim Krul in my team, but there are loads of other changes I want to do too so I'll lose 16 points. Not sure I want to risk it this early in the season but I feel I need Rooney in the squad, he looks like having a goal fest of a season.

ffs, i was top of the tyne and wear derby league for FF, now i'm 2nd because it's only added 52 points to my total not 56 like i got.
