naa, the Midlands. Just went to the shop and for the 10 minutes I was out it was sound. No wind or rain
Ahh, the midlands, the most neutral part of the country! Happily being neither northern nor southern!
Seriously though, I'm from Lincoln and when I moved to Manchester everyone from Manchester said we sounded southern, but then some people who had moved from London way said we sounded northern Think I have absolutely no hint of any accent whatsoever.
I'm from Durham but i'm in Sunderland and Gateshead a lot due to family so I have a ****ing weird accent. Was visiting my cousins in Manchester and some people thought I was Irish I actually got told to ''go back to my own country''.
Having moved down south when I was little, southerners think I'm northern and northeners think I'm southern
Am I the only person who sometimes needs a few seconds to tell the difference between Welsh and Geordie accents? Maybe I'm insane or something but the odd Welshman here and there pronounces some words as though he's from Newcastle.
